Youth are faced with many challenges. Assimilating new knowledge and juggling the demands of home, school, friends, and (for many) work can be difficult enough; to say nothing of establishing a sense of identity and belonging. Whether struggling with depression, anxiety, school stress, or strained relationships, Brad is here to provide the clinical support and resources that the Herriman Mustangs need to succeed - emotionally, socially, and academically. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 11 years of clinical experience in the community, hospitals, and homes; Brad is ready and able to serve individuals and families in every walk of life.

Duties and Responsibilities at HHS:
Bridge Resources:
Assist students and their families in accessing specialized mental health services in the community. Support students who are transitioning back to school after being in acute care. Connect/engage with community mental health providers/partners to assist families with services outside of school.
Collaborate with School Teams:
Support school counselors/psychologists in mental health risk identification, intervention, and prevention. Work with school teams to identify and support students in need of additional mental health services.
Provide Therapy:
Provide short-term, trauma informed, evidence-based therapy for high-risk students. Serve students and families by doing group/family therapy.
Support with Crisis & Suicide Risk Intervention:
Collaborate with school teams/Health and Wellness department to support with crisis situations. Available for any crisis response within Herriman High School. Provide follow-up care for individuals in crisis.
