Mr. Sam Puich
Sam Puich is the computer science teacher at Herriman High School. He has taught in various capacities for over 34 years and has worked in industry as a software engineer, systems analyst, and consultant. He is married to his wife, Emely, who is a nurse. They have one son.
Mr. Puich is a native of Montana. He has taught at the middle school, high school, and collegiate levels. He has also coached football, boys' basketball, girls' basketball, volleyball, and softball at the high school level. He has been a professor, dean, and provost at the university level.
Mr. Puich has earned several degrees in computer science, math, and physical education from Montana Tech, The University of Montana, UOP, and Stanford.
