Ms. Harper

Ms. Markie Harper is currently working towards her third master’s degree and is excited to be completing her administrative internship at Herriman High School. She graduated from Jordan High School and is a proud Beetdigger alumni. Her mother was a Language Arts teacher at Bingham High School for about 20 years and Markie grew up with a love of learning. She is an avid reader but with her ever busy school schedule, she is now a 3x speed audiobook girl.

She has a lifelong passion for swimming. She grew up spending most of her summers at Lake Powell and soaking up the sun. She joined a swim team when she was 8 years old and swam throughout high school; then she continued to swim at BYU in their PE classes. She has been a swim coach and water polo coach.
